We're Going To India

In the next week or two we are leaving for India. Five years ago the Lord laid adoption on our hearts, adoption from India.

We're excited to bring our daughter (and sister) home. Finally!

Right now we are in the process of all the travel planning. So much! We have our shots and have our malaria prescriptions filled. We're waiting on our Indian travel visas to come in the mail. Our daughter should have her Indian passport the beginning of next week and we received our legal guardianship papers for her this week.

It's finally happening. God has had His hand in it the entire time. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support. Thank you to everyone who asked every Sunday, "have you heard anything new?" and hearing the same answer, "we're still waiting". Don't stop praying. We'll be spending a few days in our daughters orphanage in Chennai. We are also going to try and see the rumored resting place of Thomas the Apostle. After Chennai we will head to New Delhi to get her visa from the American Embassy. We may even see the Taj Mahal.
